Renovation of a municipal facility in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade municipal facility.

Work will consist of courthouse facade renovations which is generally comprised of a facade renovation of an existing 3-story building including all incidental work related thereto as indicated in the Contract Documents and Specifications. PA prevailing wage rates are required and included in this contract. Question: Any questions regarding the project, plans, and or bid specifications shall be directed via email to info@ksgengineers.com no later than the 4:00 pm on August 5, 2024. A written memorandum or addendum, if necessary, will be issued the following day answering and/or addressing all questions from potential bidders submitted. Bids must be submitted upon the forms furnished by the County and pursuant to contract instructions contained in the Contract Documents. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable Wyoming County in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders contained in the Contract Documents. Bidders must provide a construction schedule and reasonable date of completion to be considered. The successful Bidder agrees to comply with the provisions of the Steel Products Procurement Act of March 3, 1978, P.L. 6, as amended (73 P.S. 1881 et seq.) The successful Bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent of the Contract Price as further described in the Bidding Documents. The successful Bidder must submit a minimum of 2 of their past projects of similar experience as well as their references. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, or family status. In accordance with Executive Orders 11625 and 12138, the successful bidder must utilize, to the greatest extent feasible, minority and/or women-owned business concerns which are located within the municipality, county, or general trade area. In addition to Equal Employment requirements of Executive Order 11246, as amended, the contractor must also comply with 2 CFR 200.231 regarding Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in his aggregate on-site construction work force, materials and equipment. Bids may be held by Wyoming County for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, before awarding the Contract. Except for Bids properly withdrawn prior to the opening of Bids, no Bidder may withdraw his Bid until sixty days after the date of opening of Bids. The right is reserved by Wyoming County to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or defects or to accept the Bid that, in the judgment of the Wyoming County Commissioners, will be in its best interest.
