Placer County Water Agency ("Agency"), will receive proposals for high-quality professional level janitorial services for various locations throughout the Agency's service area. Janitorial services shall be performed at twelve (12) different locations after business hours on weekdays and weekends as specified in this document. No Proposal received and read may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the deadline for receiving Proposals. The Agency intends to award the contract within thirty (30) calendar days of the deadline for receiving proposals. Any such contract will require approval of the Agency's Board of Directors. The Agency reserves the right to negotiate and award a contract to the most qualified Proposer(s) as determined by the Agency, to award multiple contracts, to reject any and all Proposals, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, non-responsible, or conditional Proposals. Proposer's attention is called to the fact that the Agency is a public agency formed and existing under the laws of the State of California. The Successful Contractor will be required to satisfy all current legal requirements applicable to this work. The Contractor shall give all notices necessary in connection with the performance of the contract, shall secure and pay for all necessary licenses and permits to do the work and shall comply with all laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, bearing the conduct of the work. ***Prebid meeting: Attendees may be required to sign-in at each site visited during the mandatory pre-proposal site visit. The solicitation response from a Proposer who fails to attend the entire site visit, or to sign in, shall be rejected. No allowances will be made for unreported conditions, which a prudent Proposer would recognize as affecting the work called for or implied by this Request for Proposal. Tours of the facilities will not be provided before or after the pre-proposal site visit.
