CITY OF ELKINS ELKINS PARKS and RECREATION COMMISSION ASPHALT PAVING Project: Asphalt paving of the Glendale Park and Riverbend Park walking paths in Elkins, WV. Apply nonselective herbicide to the entire existing crushed limestone base. Shaping, paving, and compacting the existing stone base walking path with an average of 2 (after compaction) hot mix asphalt. Compacting is to be done with a vibratory roller. The total walking trail to be paved is 6,650 linear feet x 7' wide (4,400 linear feet Glendale Park side + 2,250 linear feet Riverbend Park side). Asphalt must be Type 4 Wearing structural base asphalt, meet WVDOH specifications, and be sourced from a WVDOH certified approved vendor.
