Site work for a water / sewer project in Cherokee, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Cherokee is accepting qualifications for engineering services related to the development of a facility plan, coordination with IDNR, design, and construction management services related to improvements to the City's wastewater treatment plant including potentially relocation of the treatment plant outside of the floodplain due to damages incurred during recent flooding. The new wastewater treatment plant will replace the existing treatment plant either in the same location or in a new location. The selected engineer will be responsible for helping the City to evaluate options in a timely manner and will need to coordinate with IDNR, the City's grant administrator, and Iowa Homeland Security Questions regarding this solicitation can be directed to the City Clerk via email at cityckech@evertek.net.
