The estimated cost of the project is $500,000. The official bid documents must be purchased from the Owner. The City of Bellevue is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. In addition, the successful bidder must be registered for Bellevue with the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) prior to commencing work. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. PROPOSAL DEPOSIT: Each proposal shall contain the full name and address of the Bidder and shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, made payable to the Owner, or a bond in full amount of bid signed by a Surety authorized to do business in Ohio, as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the Contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. PERFORMANCE/PAYMENT BOND: The successful Bidder shall furnish satisfactory bond in the full amount of the Contract price, (100%) by a surety acceptable to the Owner, insuring the fulfillment of all the provisions of the Contract and covering all guarantees herein provided for and the payment of all persons furnishing Labor and Materials in the prosecution of the work. Contractor will complete the work by November 15, 2024. WITHDRAWAL OF PROPOSALS: Bidder may withdraw his proposal any time prior to the scheduled time for opening proposals. Proposals may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to accept any proposal during this period. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received.
