Demolition, site work and addition to a library in Ballston Spa, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a library; for the demolition of a library; and for site work for a library.
The Ballston Spa Public Library wishes to build a two story addition to their existing facility. The addition will house a reading room on the upper level and a history room on the lower level and will be built of Type 5B construction. The project is tax exempt and State prevailing wage rates will apply. Your firm will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of a sum no less than 10 percent of the Bid Price. Performance Bond and Payment Bond for 100% of the Contract Sum will be required prior to executing the Construction Contract. Failure to submit the Bid Bond with the Bid is cause for rejection. Refer to other Bidding requirements described in Document 00205 Instructions to Bidders. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders are required to complete Bid Form entirely. Bidders may provide additional required information as appropriate. The Owner expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids submitted in response to this bid solicitation.
