Renovation of a library in San Angelo, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 156-square-foot library.
Bids are being accepted for the construction of a bathroom that had been left at a rough-in stage during an initial building remodel in the basement of the Stephens Central Library. Question Deadline 10/14/2024 Questions concerning this RFB should be directed in writing to the Tom Green County Auditor's Office, Attn: Darin Schell. Email to purchasing@co.tom-green.tx.us Project Base Proposal shall consist of the infill and finish out of an Existing 156 sq/ft. Shell Space in the Basement of the Stephens Library. All of the renovation work is located within the existing Shell Space walls. New toilet room work shall consist of (but not limited to) ceramic tile walls and floors, new plumbing fixtures, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, lay-in ceiling system with mechanical grills, lighting, etc. Refer to plans and specifications for full scope of work. Please take special note of 1.03 Owner Occupancy: A. Owner intends to occupy the Project's surrounding spaces during the renovation process. B. Cooperate with Owner to minimize conflict and to facilitate Owner's operations. Note that the Stephens Library will be operational during construction and that all necessary safety and security precautions to protect property, staff, general public, etc. shall be taken. D. Contractor shall be required to schedule all the work to accommodate Owner occupancy Contract will be from award in Commissioners Court until completion of project. The contractor shall provide the County with certificates of insurance evidencing the required insurances within 10 calendar days of the Notice of Award. Tom Green County reserves the right to reject any BID which: fails to meet the mandatory requirements as stated; does not comply with the specification requirements of the RFB; or exceeds budgetary expectations.
