Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility.
Question Deadline 08/23/2024 at 12:00 PM CT Project scope consists of an approximately 6,350 SF (plus 6,350SF of unfinished attic), two story building, to house government services for Poinsett County. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas licensing laws and regulations for contractors, and shall be licensed before his bid is submitted. Bidders are hereby notified that the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act & Federal Prevailing Wage Rates apply to portions of this project. Poinsett County encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises submit bids for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups. The owner reserves the right to waive this requirement and/or schedule additional meetings. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any formalities. *Additional sets of documents may be obtained for use by subcontractors and material suppliers upon receipt of $125,00 per set which is refundable less cost of reproduction (50% refundable), and less postage/shipping costs if applicable, upon return of documents in good condition within 10 days after the bid date. No partial sets will be issued. Complete the work by October 15, 2025.
