The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) is accepting sealed bids from qualified suppliers to provide the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill Gas Collection and Control System Construction Services. SWACO reserves the right to reject any and all RFBs and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in the selection process. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. B. The Work is located on the site of the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill at 3851 London-Groveport Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123. The Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the construction of the Work as described below, and all other appurtenances and related Work required. The Work shall be as follows: 1. Construction of 2024 Landfill Gas (LFG) System at an existing, operating, landfill, consisting of the following: a. b. c. d. Survey layout and as-built survey of the project (by CONTRACTOR). Benching and supply and Installation of LFG extraction wells, hauling of waste to the active disposal area, supply and installation of backfill materials as shown on the plans, wellbore seals, wellheads and rock pads for future wells. Supply and Installation of LFG trenched and above-ground lateral piping, antiseep collars, pressure testing and tie-ins. Installation of trenched laterals includes excavation of cover soil waste, hauling of excess waste to the active disposal area, supply and installation of soil bedding, waste backfill and placement of minimum 3 feet of clean cover soil and hauling of cover soil as required. Supply and Installation of LFG horizontal perforated collector piping, sumps, stone bedding and backfill, geotextile, waste and soil backfill, hydrated bentonite plugs and tie-ins. Installation includes excavation of cover soil waste, hauling of excess waste to the active disposal area and placement of minimum 3 feet of clean cover soil and hauling of cover soil as required.
