Article 401.01(b) shall be replaced with the following: (b) Bituminous Treatment Table. The following table shows the amount of bituminous material and the size and amount of cover aggregate required for the various types of bituminous treatments. The types are designated in the table by letters of the alphabet such as A, B, C, D, etc. The proposal will designate in the pay item description which of the various types are to be used. The kind of bitumen may also be specified or, if none is specified, the Contractor may select one of the kinds, if not in conflict with other provisions of these Specifications, permitted by the table.
