The City of Zephyrhills is soliciting for a contractor to enhance several areas within the City with removal and installation of new fences, benches, trash cans, Street signs/poles, landscaping and landscaping lighting. This solicitation is broken into four areas with different requirements. Please refer to the Scope of Work and download the plans for further details. The City of Zephyrhills is soliciting for a contractor to perform the requirements detailed in the plans attached to this solicitation. This solicitation is broken into four (4) sections. This project shall be in compliance with the Florida Building Code (last edition); Federal; State and City codes and requirements and be in accordance with the plans contained here. Please download the specifications for all detail specifications of the projects. Completion Time: Hundred twenty (120) days from Notice to Proceed Budget: $450,000 +/- Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. No Pre-Conference will be scheduled. Section 1: 5th Avenue - between 1st Street and Gall Blvd Section 2: 5th Avenue--between 5th and 6th Avenues Section 3: 5th Avenue--1st Street - Storm Water Pond Plantings Section 4: Oakside Cemetery - 1st Street 1. The design elements will be located within the right-of-way, City-owned property or within an easement granted to the City. 2. Proposed enhancements include: - Landscaping - Benches - Trash cans - Street signs/poles - Identify potential locations for public art - Minor landscaping lighting - Fencing 3. No site utility design, revisions or upfit of existing utilities will be required (water, sewer, gas, dry utilities, etc) 4. No storm water design, revisions or upfit of existing storm or drainage systems will be required (drainage swales, storm water management devices, storm pipes, structures, etc) 5. Construction documents are in compliance with the Zephyrhills Community Redevelopment Agency Design Standards and Land Development Code, as applicable. 6. The bidder shall visit the sites of the proposed work and familiarize themselves with the nature and extent of the work and all local conditions that may in any manner affect the work to be done and the equipment, materials, and labor required. Bidder shall be responsible for all final measurements. 7. The Contractor shall be responsible for the project(s) demolitions and provide temporary fencing to protect the public at all times. The contractor shall not leave the job site unsecured/unprotected. The City will provide a roll-off dumpster for metal only, all items place in the roll-off dumpster by the contractor shall remain the property of the City of Zephyrhills. All other demolition materials will be the Contractor's responsibility to dispose of. 8. A Right-of-Way Use Permit will be required by Pasco County for the enhancement of SR 54 / 5th Avenue 9. Fence and accessories (shall confirm to ASTM B221) should be industrial grade aluminum, color black. 10. Fence coating: Fence system shall have an electro statically applied super durable polyester powder coat finish that exceeds AAMA 2604. Coating shall be factory applied and baked at a temperature range of 400-425 degrees Fahrenheit 11. Contractor shall provide a one (1) year unconditional warranty on all workmanship and materials. Contractor shall provide manufacturer's standard lifetime warranty on electro statically applied super durable polyester coated fence for a lifetime from date of purchase.
