Johnson Hall Pergola Replacement All work on this Contract is to be completed within 84 days after the Notice to Proceed. Scope of Work: Construction, framing and concrete work for (2) new canopies at South and East secondary entrances. Contractors should submit all questions no later than five (5) business days after the virtual Q&A. All questions are to be submitted in writing and can be e-mailed to Richard Merritt at richard.merritt@oswego.edu. In compliance with Section 139 of the State Finance Law, all questions pertaining to this solicitation during the restricted period shall be made formally through email to the designated staff. Designated staff for the solicitation is: Richard Merritt, SUNY Oswego, (315) 312-2208 - Richard.merritt@oswego.edu Contact with other than the above-designated SUNY Oswego employee concerning this procurement may result in the rejection of your bid. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and women owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The Campus MWBE Goals are 15% Minority and 15% Women. The Campus SDVOB goals are 6%. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Construction, framing and concrete work for (2) new canopies at South and East secondary entrances. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. 1.6 CONTRACTOR'S USE OF SITE AND PREMISES A. Limits on Use of Site: Limit use of Project site to Work in areas indicated. Do not disturb portions of Project site beyond areas in which the Work is indicated. 1. Driveways, Walkways and Entrances: Keep driveways loading areas, and entrances serving premises clear and available to Owner, Owner's employees, and emergency vehicles at all times. Do not use these areas for parking or for storage of materials. a. Schedule deliveries to minimize use of driveways and entrances by construction operations. b. Schedule deliveries to minimize space and time requirements for storage of materials and equipment on-site. B. Condition of Existing Building: Maintain portions of existing building affected by construction operations in a weathertight condition throughout construction period. Repair damage caused by construction operations. C. Condition of Existing Grounds: Maintain portions of existing grounds, landscaping, and hardscaping affected by construction operations throughout construction period. Repair damage caused by construction operations.
