This project may contain Federal Funds. This project requires 26% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on October 24, 2024, at 12:30 PM at the Region One/District One Office in Schaumburg. Phase III engineering services are required to provide construction engineering for subject improvement. Improvements on this project include full superstructure replacement with galvanized steel beams and semi-integral abutment conversions of structure SN#016-1018 carrying Euclid Avenue over IL-53. The project also includes resurfacing, drainage improvements, lighting, ramp repairs, traffic signals, and signage. Several local aesthetic items including stamped colored concrete, textured form liner surface, and decorative parapet railings, existing pavement PCC(Euclid) and HMA(IL-53), any and all incidentals to complete the project. The Prime firm must be prequalified in the Special Services (Construction Inspection) category to be considered for this project. Statements of Interest, including resumes of the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering and Prequalification Agreement System (EPAS).
