This project may contain Federal Funds. This project requires 26% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on November 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Region Two/District Two Office in Dixon. Phase III engineering services are required for construction contract 64N01, cold milling, pavement patching, and HMA resurfacing on I-88 from Elkhorn Creek to US 30, 0.4 mile west of the Lee County line. This contract also includes expansion joint replacement, deck patching, concrete overlay, and miscellaneous bridge repairs on six (6) structures, along with demolition and removal of two (2) structures The anticipated Letting for contract 64N01 is January 17, 2025. The anticipated construction completion date is December 31, 2026. The Consultant must complete and submit final measurements, calculations, and final contract records documents to the department no later than three (3) months after the construction completion date. The Prime firm must be prequalified in the Special Services (Construction Inspection) category to be considered for this project. Statements of Interest, including resumes of only the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering Prequalification and Agreement System (EPAS).
