sealed bids for Bid #25-4 Janitorial Services at New Brunswick Center. Bidders are encouraged to submit their bids via certified mail or overnight delivery to obtain a confirmation of receipt. Virtual attendees are required to email purchasing @middlesexcc.edu to obtain a link to the teleconference which will have audio and visual capabilities. The right is reserved to waive any or all informalities in, or to reject, any or all bids submitted and to make awards in the best interest of the Middlesex College. Bids must conform to the specifications and only responsive and responsible bids will be accepted. A certificate from a surety company will be required to be submitted with the bid as per N.J.S.A 18A:64A-25.17 as amended stating that it will provide the Performance/Payment bond required by the bid documents if the bidder is awarded the total bid or any part thereof. The surety company must indicate in its certificate that is licensed to transact business in the State of New Jersey. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance/Payment bond in the full amount of the contract price indemnifying the Owner from any and all proceedings, suits or actions of any kind, name or description and conditional for the faithful performance of the work and as security for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials in connection with the contract. All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Bidders are also required by law (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) to submit a list of names and addresses of all stockholders owning 10% or more of their stock and must file a Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid. Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 52:32-44, as amended.
