Site work and paving for a civil project in Gatineau, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Reference number: 20011195 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2024-08-14 The STO wishes to award a contract to a contractor to carry out palliative repair work on the approaches to the Pont Noir. This work consists of, but is not limited to: - Repairs to the sections of roadway on either side of the bridge. These roadway sections are currently problematic due to the presence of wooden sleepers under the rails. - Installation of a stiffer Texel Geo-9 R1 geotextile membrane with a biaxial geogrid in place of a type II member - Repaving between the rails in the area where buses cross the tracks (approx. 45 m long on either side of the bridge). - where the width of the existing paving is less than 1.75 m, complete removal of the paving and full-width repair - minimum width set at 1.75 m to leave a minimum residual width of 1 m, enabling levelling to be carried out over a width of 500 mm without the risk of tearing out the entire paving. The work is to be carried out over a weekend. *Tender has been cancelled.
