Charlotte Douglas International Airport ("Airport") is seeking to establish a contract with a Company to provide/purchase fire extinguishers, perform inspections, maintenance, testing, recharging and annual service to include parts and supplies. A large portion of the extinguishers are located within the terminal complex; however, we also have extinguishers in 55 outlaying buildings as well as city vehicles. Vendor will provide new barcodes or equivalent technology for tracking extinguishers and locations for tracking extinguishers or replacement extinguishers. All barcoded extinguishers information is to be used in detail reports. The reports should provide us with location, bar code numbers, types, size, annual inspection date, 6 year maintenance date, and hydro date. The reports should also give detail information of what is due for the following year maintenance and hydro testing.
