The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price and on the County's form. Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300, the substitution of securities for money withheld by Kern County to ensure performance ofthe contract will be permitted.
