Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Bakersfield, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The work to be performed consists, in general, of demolition and disposal of the existing hydraulic lift and its appurtenances, concrete and electrical systems. After demolition work, work includes the transportation and installation of the new hydraulic lift and its appurtenances, concrete work, and furnishing and install of electrical systems. Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Liquidated Damages $2,000/day Project Duration 100 working days The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. If the contract is to be awarded, it will be awarded by the Board of Supervisors to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid complies with all prescribed requirements. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price and on the County's form. Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300, the substitution of securities for money withheld by Kern County to ensure performance ofthe contract will be permitted.
