Renovation of a mixed-use development in Carson City, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,470-square-foot educational facility.

The Project consists of the renovation of a 2,470 square foot storage space into an open office area. The interior scope involves demolition work which will involve removal of light fixtures, removal of a gas fired suspended heating unit and saw cut and removal of concrete. Selective portions of the exterior wall will be removed for new storefront windows and a hollow metal door and concrete landing will be removed and reconfigured to be ADA compliant including a new concrete ramp and stair with painted metal handrailing. New construction will include painted gypsum board partitions. Existing masonry walls will be furred and insulated. New work will also include a suspended acoustical tile ceiling, new carpet tile flooring with rubber base and tile over new concrete in the remodeled toilet rooms, currently used for storage. A new roof mounted mechanical unit will be installed along with new lighting and power. Base Bid Description: The Project consists of the renovation of a 2,470 square foot storage space into an open office area. Contract Time: 155 calendar days. Liquidated Damages: $940.67 per day.
