Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a theater / auditorium in Hildebran, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a theater / auditorium; for the demolition of a theater / auditorium; for the renovation of a theater / auditorium; for site work for a theater / auditorium; and for the construction of a 1,080-square-foot theater / auditorium.
**As of April 01, 2025 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 15, 2025.** Town Manager Logan Shook and Project Architect Bakhtiar S. Alam, AIA will administer the bid in presence of all bidders. The project scope consists of complete removal of the existing auditorium seating & installs new 340 seating as specified; construction of two unisex ADA compliant restrooms in front lobby; reorganization of front lobby with snack bar and ticket booth; opening of stage wall to expand backstage, construction of greenroom with dressing/restrooms of areas of approximately 1,080 square feet. New back stage addition will be of CMU/Dryvit walls with metal floor and roof joists. Roofing will be Thermoplastic Membrane Roofing PVC type with foam adhesive over insulation. In addition, construction of concrete a handicapped ramp/stairs and restoration of auditorium front steps and metal handrails per drawings/specification. Also, restoration of existing equipment screen walls over front canopy and gutters/downspouts. The entire project is subject to the Town of Hildebran Authorities final approval.
