Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Ferndale, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Scope of Work: This project consists of repairing approximately one-third of a picnic shelter that was affected by a fire. Work includes installing new roofing, new concrete slab, new and/or replaced metal artwork and miscellaneous electrical related work. Questions concerning the Contract Provisions will be taken by the Project Engineer at Gray & Osborne, Inc.’s Arlington office (360) 454-5490. The City expressly reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities or informalities, and to further make award of the project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interest of the City based on the sum of the Bid. As required by the Contract, a postal money order, certified check, cashier’s check or Proposal bond made payable to the Owner is attached hereto. If this Proposal is accepted and the undersigned fail(s) or refuse(s) to enter into a contract and furnish the required performance bond, labor and material payment bond, special guarantee bonds (if required), required insurance and all other required documentation, the undersigned will forfeit to the Owner an amount equal to five percent of the Proposal amount.
