Attached are the CONTRACT SPECS for Walker Rd Tank Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Services. The estimated cost is between $400,000 - $500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. Contract Time: The Work will be substantially complete on or before January 31, 2025, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Article 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before June 27, 2025. Substantial Completion: Contractor shall pay Owner Four Hundred Dollars $400 for each day that expires after the time (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) specified in Article 2.02 for Substantial Completion, until the Work is substantially complete in accordance with the Contract Documents. B. Completion of Remaining Work: After Substantial Completion, if Contractor shall neglect, refuse, or fail to complete the remaining Work within the time specified in Article 2.02 (as such Contract Time may be duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) for completion and readiness for final payment, Contractor shall pay Owner Two Hundred Dollars $200 for each day that expires after the time specified in Article 2.02 until the Work is completed and ready for final payment. Pursuant to Article 6 of the General Conditions, the successful Bidder, before executing the Contract, shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond ("Payment Bond") to the satisfaction of the Authority, both in the sum of the full amount of the Contract, to insure the faithful performance of the Work. Pursuant to N.Y. Public Auth. L. 1108, the Authority may require such other security as it deems necessary, as set forth in the Supplemental Conditions. Bids must be accompanied by Bid security in an amount of five percent (5%) of Bidder's Bid price, and in the form of a Bid bond in a form and from a Surety in a form acceptable to the Authority, to the favor of the Authority, or a certified check made payable to the Monroe County Water Authority. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
