Work shall consist of at least three major parts, with specific fitting hardware, for the purpose of aerating and vigorously agitating sewer or lift station wet wells, or similar applications, on a continuous basis. B. Coordination 1. The aeration system shall be a Reliant Water Technologies Wet Well Wizard (Contact Jerry Gouker, FlowTechnics, 574-656-4000, cell 574-297-1077), or approved equal. This work includes lift station rehabilitation including replacement of pump unit (pumps, piping, valves, enclosure, electrical components, control panel, etc.), rehabilitation of wet well, replacement of suction and discharge piping and replacement of appurtenances related to the pump station in the base bid of four (4) sanitary lift stations and alternative bids of three (3) additional lift stations. Work will also include site restoration for all areas disturbed during construction. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or acceptable Bidders Bond made payable to the Owner, in a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the highest aggregate proposal, which check, Approved Performance and Payment Bonds guaranteeing faithful and proper performance of the work and materials, to be executed by an acceptable surety company, will be required of each Contractor at the time of contract execution. The bond will be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and must be in full force and effect f Substantially complete within 390 Consecutive Calendar days The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding.
