Renovation of a mixed-use development in Williamsville, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project Consists of: A. Mechanical Construction Work, including but not limited to, the disconnection and removal of; existing cafeteria air handling unit, split air cooled condenser and remote evaporator, compressors and appurtenances, associated steam and refrigerant piping, duct mounted coils, pneumatic controls, and louver. The installation of new air cooled chiller plant, air handling unit, pumps, piping, controls, duct mounted coils and appurtenances, cleaning of existing to be re-used ductwork and installation of new roof mounted exhaust fans to replace gravity relief hoods. Replacement of corridor cabinet unit heaters and convectors shall be included as an alternate. B. Electrical Construction Work, including but not limited to, support of the mechanical scope of work including power wiring, replacement of existing panels, and replacement of existing lighting. SUNY ECC North Campus Spring Student Center Cafeteria HVAC Upgrade Project- Electrical Construction The Contractor's attention is drawn to the provisions in the General Conditions establishing a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business/Minority/Women Business Utilization requirement for this project. Contractors are advised that by submitting a signed and sealed bid proposal they are agreeing and committing to the SDVOB/WBE/MBE requirements contained in this project. The Contractor's attention is further drawn to requirements for Contractor's participation in a New York State Certified Apprenticeship Training Program. In addition, the Contractor shall be advised that provisions set forth by Erie County Executive Order #18 ("EO #18") may apply. Attention of bidders is called to the fact that if a prospective bidder is not registered as a bidder with the Office of the Commissioner of Public Works by virtue of his/her downloading of the bidding documents, then notices of contract addenda or other significant matters related to the contract proposal or bid will not be communicated to said prospective bidder. The County of Erie reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality.
