The full scope of the project will be a new 5-story research building split over three bid packages. Package 1 (Elevators) and Package 2 (Gas Relocate, Sitework, Asphalt, Utilities, Erosion Control) were previously bid. Information regarding the third bid package is included below. ___________________________________________________________________________ Bartlett Cocke is requesting BIDS FOR AWARDING THE PROJECT SCOPES for the 100% CD Documents for the New Science 1 Building & Vivarium Expansion that will tie into the existing Barshop Building. • DOCUMENTS: Please note that documents are available through Bartlett Cocke General Contractors. Please reference the Proposal Information Packet for planrooms and other entities that we distributed the documents to. • BID FORM: Please reference the bid form with breakouts, alternates, and other information required to be submitted by the deadline. There are several alternates related to the project. • BEST VALUE AWARD: Please note that project scope award is based on "Best Value" for the owner and the project. If you have any questions about scope that is needed to be included in your proposal, please reference the Proposal Information Packet, Bid Form, and/or contract Alicia Delaney and/or Chris Johnson for further information. • WAGE RATES: Prevailing Wage Rates and certified payroll will apply to the project. • INSURANCES: This is a Owner's Controlled Insurance Project (OCIP). • SCHEDULE: Please reference the schedule in the Proposal Information Packet that is issued with the design team's documents. Please note that no contract can be awarded prior to owner approval to move forward with the project. This is anticipated for late September. • HUB PARTICIPATION: Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) are encouraged to propose on the project. There is a project percentage goal for the project.
