Replacement of Deaerator (DA) Tank system including the tank, pumps, piping, valves, electrical support, SCADA, variable speed components, etc. and all associated components and hardware. Route pump controls to the operator floor. Redesign of the current makeup water piping system of mixing make-up water and Condensate return before exporting to boiler economizers. Replacement of Condensate Tank system including the tank, pumps, piping, valves, electrical support, SCADA, variable speed components, etc. and all associated components and hardware. Re-surfacing or replacement the Condensate return wet well. Replacement of all associated components and hardware including pumps, valves, and electrical support. Reinstall lagging in Steam Tunnel on areas where the 8" condensate pipe lagging has been crushed from underfoot traffic. Demolition of existing DA Tank system in whole including the tank, electrical support, valves, floats, SCADA, and pumps. Demolition of sections of makeup water and return lines as needed to provide for an improved piping layout. Demolition of existing Condensate Tank system in whole including the tank, electrical support, valves, floats SCADA, and pumps. Due to the size of the tanks, a temporary roof opening and permanent roof infill will be part of the scope of work to get the new tanks in. Demolition of all piping from the original old abandoned steam system. Installation of lagging on all new pipe. Installation of new controls on existing orifice meter located on the steam main. Replacement of old pneumatic controls with digital sensors. Hazards such as asbestos are possible on site.
