The City of Lakeland is Requesting Qualifications From Fire Sprinkler Contractor I, Registered and Licensed to Conduct Work in the State of Florida, Interested in Entering Into an Agreement for Water Based and Engineered Fire Suppression System Design, Permitting, Installs, Repairs, Modifications, Alterations on New and Existing City of Lakeland Facilities. Scope: The contractor is expected to provide water based and engineered suppression system services involving, but not limited to, the following: Water Based Fire Sprinkler system design, calculations, modifications, repairs, parts (No inspections). Engineered suppression system design, calculations, modifications, repairs, parts, and inspections. For engineered systems the contractor will provide drawings for permit, as-builts, panel programming, inspection reports, and all invoicing promptly. The contractor must be a Notifier Fire Alarm distributor and able to program, install, remove, and relocate such devices. The contractor will provide drawings for permits, as-builts, material lists and all invoicing promptly. The contractor will prepare detailed plans, technical specifications, and bid documents following City of Lakeland Fire Team specifications for material, procedures, and design criteria. The Fire Sprinkler Contractor I may work closely with the City of Lakeland Projects Team as well as the City of Lakeland Fire Team. Communication with the City of Lakeland Fire Team is a must. The City may award a contract to one (1) or more contractors from submitted responses. Evaluation will be based on experience, past performance and personnel experience and location.
