Wastewater Treatement Improvements consisting of construction of one new wetland lagoon cell with approximately 13,000 C.Y. of Cut (raw) and 200 C.Y. Fill (raw), installation of riprap armoring (approximately 146 tons), 615 LF of 10" SDR 35 PVC transfer and emergency discharge piping, connections to existing sewer line, construction of one emergency discharge piping headwall, existing structure demolition, construction of new control/distribution structures and piping, lagoon biosolids removal, transportation, and land application, new fencing, existing fence rehabilitation, lagoon access road improvements, seeding, and miscellaneous appurtenances. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00 PM-5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents as described below. Each BID must be accompanied by a BID bond payable to the OWNER for five percent of the total amount of the BID. As soon as the BID prices have been compared, the OWNER will return the bonds of all except the three lowest responsible BIDDERS. When the Agreement is executed the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful BIDDERS will be returned. The BID bond of the successful BIDDER will be retained until the payment bond and performance bond have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. A certified check may be used in lieu of a BID bond. A performance bond, payment bond and statutory bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract.
