The City of College Station is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from firms interested and qualified to provide design and construction phase services for traffic signal fiber expansion. The estimated budget of $1,100,000 is for the design and construction services and to be better defined during design. Please note that the City of College Station is not responsible for high internet traffic/demand at or near the time the response packages are due and that firms submitting their response package during peak traffic times risk their submittal not being received by the due date and time. Question Deadline 08/20/2024 at 2:00 PM CT In order to ensure a fair and objective evaluation, all questions and inquiries related to this Request for Proposal shall be addressed in writing via the Q&A feature available through the Bidding Portal. The purpose of this project is for the design and construction phase services to extend fiber for various traffic signals throughout the City via new underground conduit, existing underground conduit, and aerial on existing overhead power poles. locations- Design services will include survey, agency coordination. and plan production.
