The work to be performed under this contract consists of a water treatment plant as illustrated on the Construction Drawings and Specifications. Specific items of work shall be as authorized and directed by the Engineer upon examination of field conditions and the Engineer shall control the sequence of work. All work is to be performed in strict accordance with these Specifications, the Construction Drawings and regulations of governmental agencies having authority over this project. The work is located in Holmes County, Mississippi. The Contractor shall be responsible for locating all existing facilities and utilities and laying out and staking of the proposed improvements. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be furnished by each Bidder as required by the Contract Documents.
