The purpose of this project is to repair and improve the existing asphalt pavement along the designated sections of Court 1, Courts 3 - 12, Gates 2 - 8, Gates 10 - 12 and Captains' Court located within the Town of Carolina Shores, North Carolina. Work includes roadway milling to match existing driveways, patching, asphalt overlay, grading of shoulders, and seeding/erosion control. General Contractors are notified that Chapter 87, General Statutes of North Carolina, will be observed in receiving and awarding general contracts. General Contractors submitting bids on this project must have license classification for Heavy Highway Construction. A performance bond and a payment bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. An additional bond will not be required for work performed in the right-of-way.
