The Wet Well Rehabilitation project is located at the City of Carrizo Spring's Wastewater Treatment Plant at 199 Cactus Dr, Carrizo Springs, Texas. The Project includes rehabilitation/repair of the concrete influent lift station wet well concrete walls, coating repaired concrete surfaces with corrosion protective coating, and replacement of suction lift piping. Owner will provide for bypass of sewage flows around wet well for completion of the work. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Bid. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids for a period of thirty days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays after the actual date of the opening of the Bids. The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders. Wage rates for this Project are subject to the minimum wage rates as per the Davis Bacon wage rates (see Section 001116A for Heavy Construction). The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
