Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. Overview: The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for purchase and delivery of Permanent Snow Fence to the Ashton Garage in Ashton, Iowa. Please see Line Items for more details. Approved Brands Any manufacturers names, trade names, brand names, or catalog numbers used in the specification are for establishing and describing general performance and quality levels. The references are not intended to be restrictive, and bids are invited on these and comparable brands or products of any manufacturer. Responders must include alternate brand specifications for purposes of comparison to approved brands based on the same or higher level of performance. Contract Award It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and work capacity. All items are tied. Sales tax exempt.
