Demolition, site work and addition to a parking garage in Millville, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the addition of a 1,224-square-foot parking garage; for the demolition of a parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.
The Town is issuing an IFB to qualified contractors to construct a vehicle, equipment, and supplies storage garage as an addition to the Town's existing "Salt Shed" on Town property located at 30 Main Street in Millville, MA 01529. This municipal property is utilized by the Highway Department and serves as the current location for the Town's salt and sand. The Town is seeking to preserve and protect its capital assets by constructing a garage to keep them isolated from the elements. Estimated Cost $100,000.00. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. All questions about the meaning or intent of the bid requirements and documents are to be directed to the Town Administrator, Peter Caruso. Questions received after July 29, 2024 before the date for scheduled deadline for submission may not be answered.
