Hydrant Replacement Project The proposed improvement is identified and advertised for bids in the Invitation for Bids as: Hydrant Replacement Project Village of Sheldon Various Locations Sheldon, IL 60966 Question Deadline 08/20/2024 Questions during the bidding process should be emailed to Neil Piggush (npiggush@piggusheng.com) and Jackie Liebermann (jliebermann@piggusheng.com). The questions will be addressed via an addendum that will be issued to all plan holders. Questions will continue to be addressed throughout the bidding process until 48 hours prior to the bid opening. Questions submitted after this date will not be addressed. All proposals must have hard copies delivered and must be signed as required as well as accompanied by a bank cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. A performance bond in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract will be required. The Prevailing Rate of Wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor shall apply to this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities.
