Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Chicoutimi, Quebec. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The work covered by this contract includes the demolition of the existing elevator, located near the gymnasium, including its mechanics and roof lean-to. The demolition of the elevator's mechanical room, the drilling of a door and the installation of a pit adjacent to the elevator for the installation of a new catch basin. The installation of a new elevator, new landing doors, a new elevator mechanical room and a new roof lean-to. It will also be necessary to dismantle certain sections of the ceilings and provide for their repair at the end of the work. TIMELINE: Tender call # 4353 was cancelled. Reference number: 20012243. This is a long-term project. Timelines for a new tender and construction will be established according to the owner's internal scheduling. Further update in spring, 2026.
