Bierut, PE dbierut@cityofbayvillage.com (440) 439-1999 DESCRIPTION This work consists of host pipe cleaning, CCTV inspection, and lining the existing 12 Sanitary Force Main with the FFRP system; all in accordance with these Specifications, the contract Drawings, manufacturers instructions, and any other regulatory requirements. This work requires coordination of work between the Owner, the Engineer, and the Contractor. A. The FFRP System includes both the FFRP Liner Material, and the FFRP Connectors. B. The work shall be done as described in the Contract Drawings. It is the intent of this specification to provide for the reconstruction of the designated pressure pipe by the installation of an aramid (Kevlar) Flexible Fiber-Reinforced Pipe (FFRP) within the existing host pipe. Due to the condition of the host pipe the new FFRP shall be designed as a fully independent, non-interactive and loose-fit pipe, not relying on the remaining strength of the host pipe to withstand long-term internal pressure. When the piping system is intended for the conveyance of potable water, the proposed product shall be certified as complying with the requirements of NSF/ANSI 61.
