The Project includes the following Work: Construction of a new 100,000-gallon glass lined, bolted steel water storage tank with associated earthwork and yard piping. Bids are requested for the following Contract: 100,000-gallon Water Storage Tank The Project has an expected duration of 120 days to substantial completion and 150 days to final completion. Fair Labor Standards The Project or Program to which the construction work covered by this contract pertains is being assisted by the United States of America and Federal Labor Standards Provisions are included in this Contract. The Contractor is obligated to comply with Federal Labor Standards Provisions (e.g. Davis-Bacon Act, Copeland Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act) and Prevailing Wage Decision(s) pursuant to the provisions applicable to such Federal assistance. American Iron and Steel Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
