CR Number: 2112613 The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for a Roof Replacement at our Rush IRA located at 1070 Rush Scottsville Rd, Rush, NY 14543 This is a NYS public works project, and prevailing wages must be paid. Final Date for Receipt of Questions: August 28, 2024 Any questions not asked at the site visit must be submitted in writing to FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov within 2 business of the site visit. (Roof Replacement Project.) The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 120 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of (Roof Replacement), before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove the existing asphalt shingle roofing system complete down to the existing wood decking. Any damaged decking will be quoted and result in a change order. 2. Provide and install a new 30-year asphalt shingle roofing system complete, including all flashings, underlayments, ice barriers, venting, accessories, and other roofing materials as required for a complete system. 3. Remove and replace exhaust vent covers as per existing, typical. 4. Remove and replace drip edge at all eaves and gables, typical. 5. Flash all penetrations, typical. 6. Remove and replace ridge vents on all ridges, typical. 7. No asbestos-containing materials may be used.
