Summary:The purpose of this Quick Quote is to establish a contract with a qualified vendor for coordination, labor and supervision of planting 50 hardwood trees at Lake Anna State Park (LASP) in Spotsylvania County Virginia. LASP is owned and managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, supplies and supervision to properly plant 50 trees at LASP in accordance with the specifications outlined in the Scope for Services. Each tree will receive stakes, mulch, initial watering, and water bags with four follow-on water events. There will be a one-year survivability warranty on the trees. If a tree is replaced, there will not be a follow-on warranty on the replanted tree. All work associated with this project shall be completed by November 30, 2025. Work can be started as early as 6:00 am and is to be coordinated with the Natural Resource Manager. Work Dates: Contractor must coordinate work dates with DCR's Natural Resource Manager. An agreed upon schedule must be determined within seven days of issuance of the purchase order. Tree planting must be completed by November 30, 2024. Work Hours: All services shall be performed, unless mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and the Natural Resource Manager, during the hours of 6:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday through Friday, except for State & Federal Holidays. Crews will not be allowed to stay onsite while completing the work.
