The Request for Bids is for Tree Removal at Various Locations as outlined within the contract documents, and any addenda thereto. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bidding. For any questions regarding the specifications or bid forms, please contact Ray Ibarra, Public Works Director, (785J-238-7142 or email raY.ibarra@jcks.com Monday through Friday 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM, up until 5 days before the actual bid. The successful bidder of tree removal will be responsible for the cutting, trimming, stump grinding, cleanup, and hauling the tree debris to the county land site. The bidder agrees if their proposal is accepted, to guarantee the quality of their work in accordance to meet city standards and to provide insurance to cover the project. All bids must be submitted on the standard Proposal Form and shall be completed in ink or typewritten. The complete set of bid documents including the specification section must be returned in the provided bid document envelope. If for some reason it is not possible to return the enclosed envelope, the bid is to be returned in an envelope which states the following: City Clerk City of Junction City Junction City, Kansas 66441 Failure to do so will result in a disqualification of the bid. Bids must be executed in the name of the bidder and signed by an authorized representative. All names must be typed or printed below the signature. The bid shall contain an acknowledgment of receipt of all addenda, the number of which shall be filled in on the form. Return all specifications sheets with bid. The City of Junction City, Kansas reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informalities or technicalities.
