North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for improvements to Carroll Residence Hall Fire Alarm System Replacement, located on Main Campus. The project scope includes replacement of the existing fire alarm system with a new addressable fire alarm and voice evacuation system for this ten-story, 60,752 sf building, originally constructed in 1968. The existing fire alarm system will remain in service until the new system is installed, tested, and accepted, and it will then be removed. Project/Phase Duration: Six Months Project Start Date (Approx.): January 15, 2025 NC State University has an affirmative policy of fostering, promoting, and conducting business with women and minority-owned enterprises. Women and minority contractors are encouraged to participate in the prequalification process.
