Asphalt shall be as follows:
o Total thickness of 4 inches
o Base layer shall be 2 inches of 3/8" 5E1 HMA
o Top layer shall be 2 inches of fine-graded 36 HMA
o 92-96% maximum density, the city may perform materials testing at its own cost
o Minimum 1% slope towards river for proper drainage
o Footings for the basketball posts shall be with 36" steel reinforced sonotubes at 42" depth
o Contractor will adhere to the City of Auburn Hills Construction Activity Ordinance
o 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, or sunrise to sunset, whichever is less on Mondays through Saturdays
o No construction activity on Sunday's or legal holidays
