General work description: Purchase, installation, inspection, testing, and documentation for a complete surveillance camera system at 15 SacRT light rail stations and 9 SacRT facilities, including removal and replacement of existing cameras at some locations, as further described in the Technical Specifications (Attachment 14) and the Plans (Attachment 12) and as directed by the Authorized Representative. The work that is the subject of this bid is a public work within the meaning of Chapter 1 (beginning with Section 1720) of Part 7 of Division 2 of the California Labor Code to which Section 1771 (Payment of Prevailing Wages) applies. Contractor license classification at the time of award must be Class A or C-7. Each subcontractor performing services under this Contract must perform services under Contractor's direction and control unless the subcontractor is a licensed contractor performing work within the scope of its license. It is the policy of the U.S. Department of Transportation that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), as defined in 49 C.F.R.
