This project consists of the demolition and installation of a new furnace and AC unit to replace the existing one. Testing and balancing of existing system to be included. A new 100A Subpanel surface mounted with a 100A 2 pole breaker in existing panel to feed subpanel is to be installed with a new raceway and wiring between panel. Furnish and install new casework, flooring, painting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical as shown or specified within the bid documents. Reference each bid package scope of work for complete scope of work narrative. This project has 7 (Seven) alternates. The bid packages include (Combination Bids for multiple bid packages WILL be accepted.): BP 01 General Trades BP 02 Painting BP 03 Flooring BP 04 Plumbing BP 05 HVAC and Temp Controls BP 06 Electrical All questions must be submitted in writing via email at jeff@midconpro.com no later than four (4) calendar days prior to bids due. Replies will be issued to all bidders of record in the form of an Addendum. This project is anticipated to be bid and awarded in September 2024, material procurement to immediately follow once contracts are issued, and work will occur in the fall of 2024. The anticipated start date is October/November 2024. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or a cashier's check, made payable to Woodford County Health Department in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The bidder shall, within said ten (10) days, provide a Performance and Payment Bond, with a Surety to be approved by the Health Department, in the amount of 100% of the cost of the contract, the cost of which shall be included in the bid. The form of the Performance and Payment Bond is subject to approval of counsel for the Health Department. The Woodford County Health Department reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities, errors or irregularity in bids received or in the bidding process, and to accept the bid that the Health Department deems the most favorable to its interest after all bids have been examined and canvassed. The Health Department will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder that meets the criteria as established in the specifications and the contract will be awarded only after a formal notice is given to the successful bidder pursuant to action by the Health Department.
