Questions Sent to: Julie Zelinsky 860-376-5880 jzelinsky@voluntown.gov The Board of Selectmen is seeking bids for Bulk De-Icing Treated Road Salt. Bulk Salt should be treated with an anti-caking product called "Promelt Ultra 2000" or equivalent product. Contact First Selectman, Tracey Hanson at 860-376-5880 for more details. The term of the contract shall be for a period of two seasons from November 1, 2024 to May 1, 2026. Sealed envelope(s) should be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope: "RFP VOL2024/25-2, Bulk Treated De-Icing Road Salt" Proposers mailing proposals should allow for normal delivery time to ensure timely receipt of their proposals. No fax or e-mail Bids will be accepted. The Town of Voluntown, if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Town, is not obligated to accept the low dollar bid price. The Town of Voluntown reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
