Collection and Disposal of Refuse and Recyclable Materials. Receiving Bids for Collection and Disposal of Refuse and Recyclable Materials for a Three-year Period November 1, 2024 Through October 31, 2027 Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond Issued by a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company, Which is Listed in the Most Recently Published U.s. Treasury Circular No. 570, or a Certified Check or Cashier Check in an Amount Equal to 10% of the Bid Amount, Made Payable to the Housing Authority of the Township of Brick. Bids Must Also Be Accompanied by a Non-collusive Affidavit. Regardless of Whether the Bid Bond or Certified Check is Submitted for Bid Guarantee, Each Bidder Must Submit a Consent of Surety, Also From a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company, Stating That It Will Issue the Necessary Performance Bond Should the Bidder Enter Into a Contract for This Work With the Housing Authority. the Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Obtain a Performance Bond for the Full Amount of the Contract From a N.j. Licensed Surety Company, Which is Listed in the Most Recently Published U.s. Treasury Circular No. 570. All Bids and Security Must Be Enclosed in Properly Sealed Envelopes Bearing on the Outside the Words "bid Documents-garbage Collection Contract", the Name of the Bidder, the Date and Time for Receipt of Bids, and Any Project or Other Identifying Number or Name. All Bid Proposals Will Be Date and Time Stamped Upon Receipt. Bidder is Solely Responsible for the Timely Delivery of the Bid Proposal and No Bids Shall Be Considered Which Are Presented After the Public Call for Receiving Bids. Any Bid Proposal Received After the Date and Time Specified Will Be Returned, Unopened, to the Bidder. the Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informality in Any Bid, Reject Any and All Bids, and Accept Such Bid and Make Such Award as May Be in the Best Interest of the Owner.
