The Buckeye Union High School District community encompasses approximately 1,200 square miles and currently serves about 5,600 students grades 9 through 12. The Buckeye Union High SchoolDistrict (BUHSD) was founded in 1921 and serves the rapidly growing cities of Buckeye, a portion ofGoodyear, and other surrounding areas. BUHSD has a rich agricultural tradition mixed with modern suburbia which makes it a great place to live, learn, and work. Currently, there are three comprehensive high schools and a Learning Center within BUHSD. Buckeye Union High School was founded in 1921. Eighty years later, Estrella Foothills High School opened in 2001, then Youngker High School in 2007,and finally, the Learning Center in 2011. BUHSD receives students from the Arlington, Buckeye, Liberty,and Palo Verde Elementary School Districts. The district has determined that it is in its best interest to use electronic submission for competitive sealed responses for this project through its procurement consultant, Sunny Path Associates, LLC. Bonfire is an electronic portal for receiving, opening, and recording bids and proposals digitally.
