Location of Project The project is located at 680 Broyles Ranch Road next to 1-80 in the town ofBattle Mountain, Lander County Nevada. The Principal items of work for the Well 6 - 2.0 MG Water Storage Tank Rehab Project will consist of: * Drill 4-inch diameter holes at 20-foot spacing in existing tank steel floor plates; * Cut existing tank floor plates and trench in 4-inch Schedule 80 perforated PVC pipe and connect pipe to existing drain manhole on site; * Install 3 inches of 3/4-inch drain rock on top of existing steel floor plates; * Install 5/16-inch x 18-inch steel ring and -fiber board around tank shell perimeter; * Embed #3 rebar into existing concrete ringwall footing and weld #3 rebar to existing tank shell between new and existing tank floor at 24-inch centers; * Install 2-inch concrete grout cap on top of existing concrete ringwall footing for new floor elevation; * Install new -inch steel floor plates; * Modify existing tank roof structure support columns for new floor elevation; * Weld door sheet on tank shell; * Remove existing coating system on entire tank interior and provide surface profile on new tank steel floor plates; * Install new 3-coat, epoxy coating system on entire tank interior; * Provide testing and disinfection of water tank. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities in any bid or in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish both a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the full amount of the Contract Price for the contract.
