The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The project is located at 100-00 Beach Channel Drive, Rockaway Park, NY 11694 The work at Q410 shall be as indicated and called for in the contract documents and shall include, but not be limited to, the following general items of work: 1. Provide new partition wall in the existing Boy's Locker Room to create 2 separate spaces: Weight Room and Boy's Locker Room. The new wall shall be constructed with metal studs, gypsum board, and vinyl resilient base. 2. Provide two new doors in the new wall partition, one with a vision panel and one without. 3. Remove the lockers around the perimeter walls of the new Weight Room along with the 4-inch-high concrete pad. Patch and repair the concrete floor. 4. The existing concrete floor shall remain. Sweep the floor broom clean and provide self-leveling cement to cure any imperfections in the floor and provide interlocking rubber flooring over the concrete floor. Provide tapered rubber border tiles where needed. 5. Provide wall mounted bracket for new AHUs. Patch, repair existing wall after completion of installation. Paint the entire Weight Room with semi-gloss paint and patch any openings in the walls. 6. Remove and replace portion of the existing soffit and ceiling to facilitate mechanical work in the Boy's Locker Room and the Gym Storage Room. Paint the entire ceiling and protect any items that are to remain. 7. Provide new mechanical room to host floor mounted dehumidifier inside the new Weight Room. Provide partition, single door and 2 acoustical louver openings. 8. Repair portion of existing roof to install prefabricated curb for the new condenser unit. 9. Core drill existing walls and slabs for mechanical pipes and electrical conduits. Provide firestopping at all new penetrations. 10. Provide display marker boards, safety mirrors and safety wall pads on the walls within the Weight Room. 11. Demolish and remove existing air devices and sections of ductwork as required to install new relocated ductwork and air devices as indicated on the floor plans. 12. Provide cooling for the new Weight Room using nine (9) two and a half (2.5) ton wall mounted ductless air handling units to be paired to one (1) roof-mounted aircooled condensing unit. 13. Provide dehumidification for the new Weight Room using two (2) dehumidifiers, within the new acoustically louvered mechanical room. 14. The existing heating and ventilation systems shall remain and be re-balanced as indicated on the floor plans. 15. Demolish and remove electrical devices and equipment in the area of work as indicated. 16. Provide new bi-level drinking fountain with bottle filler and cuspidor within new weight room. Connect new 1/2"CW, and 11/2"V from new drinking fountain and cuspidor to existing 2"CW and 2"V within adjacent pipe chase serving existing fixtures to remain. Connect new 11/2" to existing 4"S within crawl space below. 17. Provide new lighting and new lighting controls in the Weight Room. 18. Provide (1) wireless access point and connect it to existing school LAN. 19. Provide new receptacles and provide power to new HVAC and plumbing equipment in the Weight Room. 20. Provide new electrical panelboard and feeder. 21. Provide new fire alarm devices in the Weight Room and connect them to the existing fire alarm system in the building.
